StaffHub Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how StaffHub ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the StaffHub mobile application and web console (together, the "Service"). StaffHub is a workforce operations platform used by restaurant franchise owners and their employees to manage scheduling, messaging, onboarding, and operational reporting.

StaffHub is provided to employees by their employer. Your employer is the controller of your employment data; StaffHub processes that data on the employer's behalf to operate the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information, primarily during employee onboarding and ongoing use of the Service:

We do not collect Social Security Numbers. StaffHub does not request, store, or maintain SSNs within the app.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and operate your employee account and provide the Service.
• To enable scheduling, shift reminders, messaging, task assignment, and time-off management.
• To allow your employer to maintain employment records and run labor and sales reporting.
• To send operational notifications (e.g., shift reminders, schedule changes) via push notification.
• To secure the Service, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. How Information Is Shared

• With your employer and authorized managers/administrators at your workplace, as needed to operate the Service.
• With service providers who help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), under obligations to protect your data.
• When required by law, such as to comply with a legal request or protect rights and safety.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive fields (such as bank account details) at rest, encrypted connections (HTTPS) in transit, and access controls that limit data visibility to authorized users. Pay rates and sensitive profile data are restricted to administrators. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable measures.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet your employer's record-keeping and legal obligations. When an account is deactivated, associated data may be retained by your employer as required by applicable employment and tax laws, and is deleted when no longer needed.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• You may review and update much of your profile information directly in the app.
• Providing bank account details is optional; you can use the Service without entering them.
• You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
• To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact your employer (the data controller) or us using the details below. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

7. Children's Privacy

StaffHub is intended for use by employees and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where employees are minors of legal working age, the Service is used under the supervision of their employer in compliance with applicable labor laws.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
